Award-winning design of displays — and more

PosterGarden’s knack for eye-catching design has again made waves with readers of the tradeshow industry’s top publication, EXHIBITOR magazine.

According to results from a recent On Target® Ad Readership Study conducted by Readex Research, PosterGarden’s advertisement from the October 2011 issue of EXHIBITOR was one of the most effective and visually appealing in the entire magazine. In the study, readers scored ads in four different categories: visual appeal, ease of reading, amount of information, and its clear communication of benefits.

“It’s always nice to have your work recognized, and to be recognized by a publication like EXHIBTOR, two years in a row, is just fantastic,” said Travis Rigby, President and CEO of PosterGarden. “It really means a lot to us and gives our work some real validation.”

The winning ad showcased one of PosterGarden’s most innovative portable displays, a fabric popup known as the Sophora. Easy to use, lightweight, and incredibly versatile, the Sophora is also a visually stunning display that boasts full-color graphics printed on recycled and recyclable EcoKnit fabric. The display itself won an EXHIBITOR Product Design Award in 2010.

“We have displays, like the Sophora, that are both simple and bold,” said Michael Rigby, PosterGarden’s Director of Product Development and the designer of the ad. “It’s a great formula for a portable displays, but it also works really well for our ads. Thanks to some great feedback from EXHIBITOR, we’ve really been able to sharpen our ads and boost our results over the past couple years.”

PosterGarden ads will continue to run in the monthly print editions of EXHIBITOR throughout 2012 on the back cover of the magazine, a coveted spot that PosterGarden moved into in the fall of 2011. The ads will spotlight many of PosterGarden’s unique portable displays, including some new products currently in development.
