Questions&Answers

How can I get the most exposure with a portable display?

A: The easy answer: go big and go bold. Nothing says “Come look at me!” like full-color graphics with head-turning images. But to maximize your exposure even more, make sure you’re taking advantage of every option on your display. One example: the base panel on PosterGarden’s Aspire Brochure Rack can be custom-printed with full-color web addresses, company logos, artwork, or just about anything else you can imagine.

Have any suggestions for portable displays that stand out in a retail environment?

It’s not easy to catch attention these days, what with all the information and signage and audio and video options all around. PosterGarden offers a whole line of in-store displays designed just for the retail environment, including an In-Store Rollup Display and an In-Store Display Flag One of the most unique, however, is the Bamboo X-Banner, a quick and easy environmentally-friendly banner display that really catches the eye. Give it a try and lets us know what you think.

The venues where I use portable displays are usually pretty small, the events are low-key, and there are not a lot of people. So, I like to get in quick and set up easily and then be able to take it all down the same way. What’s my best bet?

For starters, find some better events to attend! Just kidding. Even small events merit great-looking portable displays so you can really make an impact on people. One of the easiest routes to go? A folding table, custom-printed table throw, and a Tabletop Retractable from PosterGarden. The table’s easy to set up, the throw can be printed in whatever color you want with your logo, and the retractable, which literally sets up in seconds, has your custom graphics printed in full-color.

My supervisor wants me to start thinking about our summer event schedule already. How can I make a big impact outside this summer?

The simple answer: PosterGarden Event Tents and Event Flags. Unlike some event tents that can only be printed in two colors for a reasonable price, our Event Tents come with full-color dye-sublimation graphics that can be printed in any color or pattern anywhere on the tent. Sturdy and strong yet easy to set up, our tents also have practical options available like a convenient roller bag and weight bags. (And now through May 31, 2009, you can save $400 when you purchase a 10’x10’ Event Tent with graphics!) As for PosterGarden’s Event Flags, they come in three sizes and can also be printed however you like — even double-sided. Various optional bases are available so your flag will be sturdy no matter where you set up, and each one comes with its own case. Together or on their own, our Event Tents and Event Flags will help you make a huge impact this summer — or anytime at all.

I’m looking to save all the money I can for my company this year, and renting tables for every trade show we attend doesn’t seem like the best way to do that. Any ideas?

It’s not unusual for table rental at a trade show to hit $250 — or more. At that rate, it doesn’t take long to ring up quite a tab. At the same time, you don’t want to just buy a cheap, wobbly table that’s not going to last through more than one show. At PosterGarden, our portable tables are not only sturdy and simple to set up, they’re affordable too. We offer four different styles — rollup, double rollup, folding, and bar-height — all of which come with handy carrying cases. They can all also be customized with our custom-printed table throws, runners, and wraps. Money-saving? You bet.

I need to be able to swap out my banner stand graphics in between shows, but not a lot of stands let you do that. Does PosterGarden have any banner stands like that?

On-the-go exhibitors need a portable display that can adapt on the fly. Our Endeavor Retractable Banner Stand does just that – and more. The Endeavor’s TerraPro or PolyOxford graphics are easy to switch out and re-tension thanks to a unique removable roller cartridge. You can also easily adjust the height of the banner pole, add lights, or even pick up twice the coverage with the Endeavor Dual double-sided banner stand.

My company is working to become more sustainable in everything that we do, including our trade show appearances. Does PosterGarden offer any green products or services that are a bit more environmentally friendly?

Richard Marko

Like a lot of companies these days, PosterGarden itself is striving to implement practices and products that are friendly to the planet. By doing so, we’re helping our customers become greener as well. For starters, we offer EcoKnit Fabric, which contains nearly 60% recycled content, for our Fabric PopUps and Fabric Counters. We offset some of our carbon emissions by shipping with EA Logistics’ “Delivered GrEAn” program, and we use cutting-edge dye sublimation and UV curing printing methods with water-based inks that produce fewer volatile organic compounds. In addition, our Redeem Green initiative includes a portable display recycling program, through which you can recycle your old portable display and earn $25 toward your next purchase. We’re always on the lookout for other ways we can incorporate sustainability into our company and yours. For updates, check out our Redeem Green link at www.PosterGarden.com.
